Saved Views
Nomination programmes collect and display lots of useful information about candidates, but you may want to hone in on specific terms or narrow your field of view. Saved Views enable you to save a selection of information and then return to it later.
Creating a Saved View
This can be done in one of two ways:
Firstly, whenever you visit your programme entries, and filter, sort or search for something, a new button
will appear on the toolbar called 'Save View'.Or, you can visit the Programme Settings page and create and see your Saved Views listed there.
If you don't provide a name, a default one ('Unnamed View') will be provided, but it may become difficult to distinguish what you saved when you come to revisit later.
Visible Columns are any attributes from your nomination form that you wish to see, including some system-provided ones like the 'Status', 'Created At', 'Scores' and 'Candidate Age' columns. A candidate's name and headshot are always visible. If no columns are provided when creating or editing a view, the view will fall back to the default ones: Name, Status, Company, Category, Alternate Category, Created At.
Editing a Saved View
Properties of a saved view can be editied in the same places you can create a saved view. Either while browsing nominations or on the programme settings page. Look for the
button. If you have a view open, there will be an 'Edit View' button on the toolbar. Alternatively, all the existing views are listed on a programme's settings page can be changed there.
Filter and Sort
Currently, only one filter and one sort condition can be saved. You can filter and sort at the same time.
Search
Search terms are saved as a single string, so you can't search for multiple terms.
If you activate a Search from an open view, the columns are not preserved. Search will highlight any matching terms it finds from any of the questions in the entry.
